Is Chaweng Beach noisy? Are there many restaraunts and shopping on Lamai? We are looking for somewhere quite but close enough to shops, restaraunts and activities

Does anyone know how much I should budget (Canadian or American dollars) for 2 weeks in Thailand. I will be flying to Bangkok from Hong Kong and then going down to the island Koh Samui for the rest of my stay before returning back to Bangkok and then back to Hong Kong.

I’d like to stay in cheap bungalows with air cond on the beach. Eat lots of street food, and buy few souveniers while seeing a few attractions.

I have no idea how much to budget.

Also.. how do i get to Koh samui from Bangkok? $?

We’re planning a honeymoon and would like to travel between Kuala Lumpur to Phuket, Phuket to Koh Samui, Koh Samui to Bangkok. What is the best way to travel between these places? Can anyone tell me if it is better to travel Thai air, Malaysia air or Singapore air from australia? Thanks guys:)
